There are a number of clubs such as Gardening, Art club, Ramblers, Bowls, and Women's Institute in Bewerley and Pateley Bridge to name but a few.

There are also a number of football and cricket clubs which use the excellent facilities in the community.

There is a fully equipped fitness centre at Brimhams and sports facilities, including a pool on the same site at Nidderdale Pool.

There is a childrens play area in the playing field where there are swings, slides etc. There are also a number of pieces of external keep fit equipment dotted round about the playing field.
